What is this Thang?
You're invited to join 2,000 teens from across the Southeast for Farm Fest 2007 on Saturday, October 12-13. You won't want to miss this one-day experience packed full of carnival-type challenges "out in the pasture." Along with the many games and activities, there will be delicious food, great music, and messages from God's Word.

Christ-centered preaching - There are three preaching services throughout the day. Evangelist Ron DeGarde will bring relevant messages to the teens concerning salvation and Christian living issues. We will also worship the Lord through singing before each sermon.

Action-packed games - In addition to dozens of carnival style games, come enjoy paintball, the obstacle course, a volleyball tournament, human foosball, and inflatable games and rides.

Delicious food - Lunch is provided, but make sure to bring some extra cash for Uncle Bill's BBQ, Aunt Judy's funnel cakes, sno-cones, and lots of other baked goods.

The Farm Men Skit

Click here to view pictures from Farm Fest 2005!

Who can Come?
Teenagers in grades 7-12 are eagerly invited and most welcome to join us. That means bring your friends!

What do I Ware?
Put on your overalls for the trip to the farm--don't forget the farm atmosphere and the type of activities. We do ask that there be no shorts, halter tops, tank tops, etc.

Whos R Speaker?
RON DEGARDE - Charlotte, NC

We live in a desperate day with desperate needs. There are more challenges and pitfalls facing you today than ever. Satan is using his fiery darts with a great degree of accuracy and effectiveness. How can you live for God in such a wicked day? The Bible's admonition for you to remember the Creator in the days of you youth is needed more than ever (Ecc. 12:1)! Young people can live for God! God has not left us to our own wisdom and strength to navigate through life's journey but has thoroughly equipped us for every good work. God's Word has every answer for all of our decisions and problems. Only the light of God's Word can guide, convict and quicken us on our way to victory. "Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies" (Ps. 60:12).

MONEY STUFF
Friday night, eat before you come and hop on the vans...we're headed to the farm! For just $15 you get a whole trip full of fun. Breakfast, a day of crazy games, activities, and a delicious meal served up at lunch. Bring money for a fast-food meal on the way home.

The fun stuff

farm festHuman Foosball
Grab your friends and enter "the cage." You'll have a chance to compete with other groups in a friendly game of human foosball.

Hillbilly Basketball
Take a free throw at a basketball goal 20 feet in the air!

Backwoods Barrier Course
It's you against the clock and a super-challenging obstacle course through the woods.

The Moon Walk
See how high you can jump in the one-of-a-kind bungee moon walk.

Hilarious Skits

The Dunk Tank
Dump your youth pastor in the tub!

The High Striker
Test your strength.

Smash a Clunker

Ahh, the beauty of the scenery. The crisp mountain air. The sound of a river rushing by. WAIT A MINUTE! Actually it's more like...Yow! The feeling of gallons of water being splashed into your face. The rush of manuevering raging rapids. The thrill of navigating your boat through the mighty 'Nanny" River. Blast back into school with a splash! Whitewater adventure is sure to soak you, shake you and dunk you into the fall. Grab some friends and come ready for the ride of your life. We will eat a picnic lunch together (bring your own) and then we will hit the river. After a crazy ride of splashing, dunking and rapiding (is that a word?) down the river. 3 wet hours later, we meet back at the river store for a dinner (included in your cost). Don't forget your Waiver Form or shoes.

Wilds Camp Trip

Get Ready!
feudin.jpg

It's time to git your dander up for a little Friendly Feudin'! We dun divided up the camp to hitch everyone up to one of three mighty proud (and sometimes mighty ornery) families: the Calhouns, the Hatfields, and the McCoys. Instead of plinken' at each other with their trusty shootin' irons, they'll all be fix'n to engage in a might bit more civilized pastimes--like competitions that are more excit'n' than watchin' cit'-slickers chase hogs, funtimes that are guaranteed to have y'all in stitches and free time adventures you ain't never gonna forgit! They'll even shake hands and declare a truce in the squabbl'n' so y'all can set yourself down to hear some good ol' fashion' preach'n', have cabin discussions, and enjoy excit'n' music. Y'all don't want to miss out! Let the feudin' begin!

June 19 -24!

THE WILDS is a 1,000 acre campsite nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Rosman, North Carolina.

THE WILDS offers each of its campers beautiful surroundings, staff and counselors that care, and practical spiritual direction.

Every day is packed with "funtastic" things to do, such as hiking, swimming, water trolley, land trolley, basketball, crafts, rifle range, tubing, big ball volleyball, water slides, table tennis, frisbee golf, lake activities, climbing wall, Human Foosball and the Giant Swing. In addition to all the fun activities, there is a focus on Biblical guidance and direction. A daily personal devotional time called God & I Time gives practical instruction in godly habits. Special services and chapels help campers personalize God's Word in their everyday lives.

Click here to see the pictures from last year's trip.

a Redneck Christmas

rednecklight.jpg

'Twas the night before Christmas And all through the trailer
Not a creature was stirrin' 'Cept a redneck named Taylor.
His first name was Bubba, Joe was his middle,
And a-runnin' down his chin Was a trickle of spittle.
His tube socks were hung by the chimney with care,
And therefore there was a foul stench in the air.

Along with the many games and activities, there will be delicious food, great music, and messages from God's Word.

WHO'S Speakin?
Farm Fest 2005 will be unlike any other Farm Fest yet! Jonathan Edwards, a church planter from Utah, will be providing a horse-breaking demonstration throughout the day and will combine the demonstration with biblical application in a unique, memorable, and challenging presentation of the Gospel during the three services.

Jonathan and his wife, Chrissa, own and operate Three Springs Ranch in Marysvale, Utah, to raise and train horses for ministry purposes. Jonathan has been the director of a horsemanship program for nearly two decades. He also serves on the board of Northwest Baptist Missions and has planted three churches in Utah since 1978.

This is a Farm Fest you definitely do not want to miss!

Who can Come?
Teenagers in grades 7-12 are eagerly invited and most welcome to join us. That means bring your friends!
